Kim Jump O'Conor

Kim Jump O’Conor, beloved wife of Robb O’Conor and cherished mother of Mallory Costello and her husband, Brian, and Danny O’Conor, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. She was a loving sister to John Jump and his wife, Stacey, Mary Louise Polhamus and her husband, Jim, and Ginny Jump; a dear sister-in-law to Kelly Buedel and her husband, Mark, and Jimmy O’Conor and his wife, Anne Marie; and a devoted daughter of the late Bobby and Mary Lou Jump. Kim was absolutely adored by her whole family, including her ten nieces and nephews—Reid, Scott, Becky, Billy, Emily, Miles, Lillian, Jack, Liam, and Owen—as well as many friends who were like family. Born in 1961, Kim proudly lived in the Baltimore area her whole life. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her MBA from the University of Baltimore. Kim met the love of her life, R, in 1990, and they were happily married for 34 years and three days, enjoying countless concerts, running festivals, and Orioles games together. They raised Mallory and Danny with deep love and took them on many wonderful adventures, near and far. Kim made friends and fun wherever she went, including throughout her long and successful career in finance and project management. Kim was beautiful and lived a beautiful life, making the most of each day and consistently choosing positivity. She found joy in the smallest things and always saw reasons to be grateful. She loved running, gardening, sitting in the sunshine—especially at the beach—listening to music, and being with those she loved. A woman of strong Catholic faith, Kim’s beliefs guided the way she lived her life. She loved her family with a force of deep loyalty and unwavering care. She was extraordinarily fun, thoughtful, inquisitive, and sweet. There is no one like Kim and she will be dearly missed by all who were lucky to know and love her. She will be remembered for her humble spirit, gentle nature, kindness, grace, and generosity. Friends may call at Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM.
