On February 18, 2022, Beatrice Lilley (nee Day) Post passed away at her daughter's home in Byron, GA. Born December 29, 1921, widowed in 1984 from Dr. Laurence C. Post. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Lilley Long and her husband Murray of Byron, GA; grandchildren Jill K. Gregory of Atlanta, William J. Gregory and his wife Allison of Byron, GA, and Lacey P. Gwyn and her husband Gregory of McDonough, GA; great grandchildren William Jack Gregory, Thomas Gregory, Lilley Kate Gwyn, Vada Gwyn, and Greyson Gwyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bea will be remembered for her love of flowers and her countless volunteer hours at GBMC and Broadmead Retirement Community in Baltimore County, MD where she was a resident for many years. Family will greet visitors in the mausoleum chapel at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E. Padonia Rd., Timonium, MD 21093 on Saturday, April 2 from 9 to 10AM, with funeral service to be held at 10AM. As Bea loved nature, donations may be made, in lieu of flowers, to the National Wildlife Federation.
