Mrs Kathleen C. Lombardo

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kathleen Lombardo on February 25, 2025 at 82 years old. Born in Towson, Maryland in June of 1942 to the late John and Marjorie Connor. She was the mischievous sister of late John Connor and wife Polly Connor (LeRoy). Kathy attended Immaculate Conception and Towson Catholic High School graduating with honors. After graduation, she began work in the accounting department at C&P Telephone. She also gave many years of dedicated service to the Baltimore County Public Library as a circulation supervisor. Kathy is survived by her devoted and eccentric husband, John Lombardo. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this coming spring. She is also survived by their four loving children; Michelle Smith and husband Thomas Smith, Annette Lombardo and husband Frank DiMauro, John Lombardo, and Joseph Lombardo and wife Sandra Lombardo (Scherback) and two talented grandchildren Christopher Lombardo and Caroline Smith Travers and husband John Travers. Kathy found deep fulfillment in dedicating herself to her family. She took on a hands-on role of participating in all their activities including Girl Scouts where she was a scout leader taking the girls primitive camping and Boy Scouts where she played an integral role in shaping the scouts' experiences and development through her dedicated service. When high school came around, she moved on to the chauffeur and cool chaperone role making sure everyone made their extra curricular activities. Kathy was also an in school volunteer at Calvert Hall College High School. In Kathy’s spare time, she was an avid supporter of historical preservation. John and Kathy spent many a day, including their honeymoon, enjoying the history of the restored town of Colonial Williamsburg. In fact they had four amazing family reunions and a 50th wedding anniversary, bringing all the children, spouses, and grandchildren together to share in their love of history. These are cherished memories that warm our hearts to this day and inspired the career of granddaughter Caroline. A Funeral Service will be held at St Ursula Church 8801 Harford Rd, Parkville, MD 21234 on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM. A small internment service at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens 200 East Padonia Road, Timonium, MD 21093 immediately following funeral services.
